Terms & Conditions

Welcome

The following terms and conditions should be read carefully, as they are binding. All travel arrangements made on your behalf are facilitated by TripMakers.us, with services provided by HUGE EXPOSURE SERVICES INC (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in the United States at 905 Morning Sun Dr, Birmingham, AL 35242-2970.

By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you understand, accept, and agree to be bound by these conditions.

Formation of Contract

No contract exists between you and us until we have received and accepted a non-refundable deposit of at least USD 100 per person (subject to change) and the booking complies with applicable fare rules.

A booking is considered confirmed once your credit or debit card has been successfully charged with either the deposit or the full booking amount in cleared funds. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

All services are subject to availability. Prices are based on transportation and ground costs at the time of booking. TripMakers.us reserves the right to amend prices before booking confirmation and does not accept responsibility for verbal quotes or descriptions. We also reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse any booking.

When making a booking, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of all travellers included in the booking and that you are responsible for all payments due for each party member.

It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided to us is accurate and that all information we provide is shared with everyone in your travel party.

Payments & E-Tickets

Travel documents are normally issued 14 days before departure. If your e-tickets have not been received at least 3 days before departure, you must contact us immediately.

Flight Programme Changes

Flight prices, schedules, routes, dates, and airline selections may be changed or cancelled by airlines or authorities at any time. TripMakers.us will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives where possible. All transportation services are arranged strictly in our role as a booking agent.

Ticket Validity, Schedules & Carriers

Tickets are valid only for the dates and routes specified. No refunds are issued for unused portions unless permitted by the airline’s fare rules.
Flight schedules and timings are subject to change due to operational, regulatory, or safety reasons. Times shown are estimates only and do not form part of the contract. TripMakers.us and the airline are not liable for delays, cancellations, diversions, or missed connections outside their control.

Important notices:
• All fares and schedules are subject to change without notice
• A deposit does not guarantee the fare
• Most tickets are non-changeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable

Booking Confirmation & Travel Documents

Once full payment has been received, TripMakers.us requests your travel documents from airlines and other travel suppliers. In most cases, airline tickets are issued within 24–48 hours. For scheduled flights, tickets are generally issued after card verification and payment confirmation, usually within three working days, unless otherwise requested. Other travel documents are typically released 14 days before departure.

For charter flights, tickets are normally issued 10–14 days before the departure date.

Traveller Responsibilities

The traveller is responsible for the following:

• Carefully reading and accepting all terms and conditions before making a purchase.
• Ensuring that the traveller’s name is spelt exactly as it appears on the passport before completing the booking.
• Contacting TripMakers.us immediately if a booking confirmation email is not received within a few minutes of booking. Once received, all details must be checked carefully and any discrepancies reported without delay.
• Regularly monitoring the email address provided at the time of booking, as all correspondence from us is sent via email.
• Confirming departure airport terminals directly with the airline.
• Checking visa requirements, travel documents, and entry rules for the destination and any transit countries through the relevant embassy, high commission, or airline.
• Ensuring all required vaccinations are completed before travel.
• Verifying passport validity, noting that many countries require passports to be valid for at least six months beyond the return date.
• Checking check-in times for all flights. Travellers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights.
• Monitoring flight times and any schedule changes for both outbound and return journeys.

Use of Tickets

The electronic ticket (e-ticket) sent by email upon booking confirmation serves as the official travel document and must be carried throughout the journey. This document includes essential information such as booking reference numbers, flight details, and departure times.
Airline tickets must always be used in sequence, and all flight segments must be completed. Failure to complete any part of the journey may result in the airline cancelling the remaining segments without refund.
Tickets issued under separate booking references are treated as independent journeys. TripMakers.us accepts no responsibility for missed connections, schedule changes, or refunds relating to separately booked tickets.

Flight Times

All flight times are shown in local time, with next-day arrivals indicated as “+1”. Flight schedules are provisional and subject to change with little notice. Travellers are responsible for monitoring schedule updates directly with the airline.
Flights described as “direct” may still include technical stops. Departure and arrival times are estimates and may change due to air traffic restrictions, weather conditions, operational requirements, or late check-ins. Any delays or operational decisions are at the sole discretion of the airline, and TripMakers.us cannot make special arrangements in such cases.

Special Requests & Medical Conditions

Any special requests must be communicated at the time of booking. While we will make reasonable efforts to forward requests to suppliers, fulfilment cannot be guaranteed, and failure to meet a request does not constitute a breach of contract.
Travellers with medical conditions or disabilities that may affect travel arrangements must inform TripMakers.us in writing before booking, providing full details. If appropriate arrangements cannot be made, we reserve the right to decline or cancel the booking.

Flight Ticket Bookings

Price Changes & Technical Errors

TripMakers.us reserves the right to correct pricing errors or technical issues beyond its control. If necessary, travellers may be contacted within 24 hours to amend or cancel a booking affected by such errors. Notification will be sent by email.

One-Way Ticket Combinations

To secure special fares, bookings may consist of multiple one-way tickets. Each segment is treated independently, and individual airline rules apply in cases of delays, cancellations, or schedule changes.

Force Majeure

TripMakers.us is not responsible for cancellations or changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including civil unrest, strikes, natural disasters, war, or government actions. No compensation, alternative arrangements, or reimbursements will be provided for related expenses such as hotels, transport, or visas.

Passports, Visas & Immigration

Travellers are fully responsible for ensuring passport validity and obtaining all required entry and transit visas. Any costs arising from non-compliance are the traveller’s responsibility.
Travel to or via the USA requires a valid ESTA approval and a machine-readable passport. TripMakers.us and its suppliers accept no responsibility if travel is denied due to documentation issues.

Vaccinations

Travellers must ensure all required vaccinations and health formalities are completed before travel. Any associated costs must be borne by the traveller.

Frequent Flyer Programs

Frequent flyer details may be added during booking; however, TripMakers.us does not guarantee mileage credits or bonus points. Eligibility must be confirmed directly with the airline.

Infants

Infants aged 0–2 years travel without a separate seat. If a child turns two before the return journey, a child ticket is required for the entire trip. Infant tickets cannot be issued before birth, and incorrect ticket types are non-refundable.

Taxes

Airfare prices include airport taxes unless stated otherwise. Some airports charge departure taxes payable locally in cash. Travellers are responsible for verifying this information.

Transport, Accommodation & Schedule Changes

Ground transportation and overnight accommodation during your journey are not included in the ticket price. Travellers are responsible for checking schedules, availability, and costs independently. This also applies if airlines amend flight times or airports, as such changes are beyond the control of TripMakers.us.

Connections and Stopovers

Connection times during stopovers are calculated and determined by the airlines. If a flight segment is delayed on a single-ticket itinerary, the airline is generally responsible for assisting you in reaching your final destination.
However, when flights are booked on separate tickets, airlines hold no responsibility for missed connections due to delays. In such cases, travellers must ensure sufficient connection time based on airline and airport requirements. TripMakers.us will not reimburse any additional expenses incurred as a result of missed connections.

Lost or Damaged Luggage

TripMakers.us does not accept liability for lost or damaged baggage. Any issues must be reported immediately to the airline’s representative at the airport, as the airline is solely responsible for baggage handling.

Premium Economy, Business & First Class

Premium cabin services must be purchased at the time of booking. Availability may vary by airline and may apply only to specific flight segments. Onboard services differ between airlines, and travellers are advised to refer to the airline’s official website for detailed information.
TripMakers.us cannot be held responsible if an airline changes aircraft type, overbooks a cabin, or downgrades passengers, which may affect service levels. Any complaints regarding such matters must be addressed directly with the airline.

Airline Schedule Changes

Airlines may change flight schedules or cancel flights at short notice. These changes are outside the control of TripMakers.us. Travellers are responsible for checking their departure and return flight times directly with the airline.
If a flight is cancelled, passenger rights and remedies are governed by the airline’s conditions of carriage. Depending on those conditions, you may be entitled to:

• Travel on an alternative flight with the same airline at no additional cost, and/or
• A full refund, excluding applicable administration charges

If a schedule change occurs before full payment is received or before tickets are issued, TripMakers.us will make reasonable efforts to notify you on behalf of the airline. Under no circumstances will TripMakers.us pay compensation for changes caused by Force Majeure events.

Cancellation and Rebooking of Flights

Ticket Issuance and Cancellation
Tickets are issued immediately upon receipt of payment. Many airline tickets are restrictive and may not be refundable or amendable once issued.
Cancellations must be notified at least 24–48 hours before departure. Any cancellation made by phone must be confirmed in writing or by email within 24 hours by the person who made the original booking. Cancellation takes effect from the date TripMakers.us receives written confirmation.

Refunds

There is no automatic entitlement to a refund. When a ticket is returned, we will submit it to the airline or consolidator for refund assessment in line with their terms and conditions.

• A $75 administration fee per ticket applies to all refund requests
• Airline or consolidator cancellation penalties apply separately
• A $75 administration fee also applies when TripMakers.us processes tax-only refunds for non-refundable tickets
• If recoverable taxes are less than the administration fee, the ticket is deemed fully non-refundable

Refunds are only paid once received from the airline or consolidator, which typically takes 10–12 weeks.

Rebooking and Amendments

Any request to modify a booking must be submitted in writing by the original booker. Airline rules are often restrictive, and rebooking may not always be possible.

If TripMakers.us assists with rebooking, the traveller is responsible for:
• A $50 amendment fee per person
• Airline penalties
• Fare or tax differences
• Any additional costs incurred

Rebooking is only confirmed once written confirmation is issued by TripMakers.us. Name changes are typically treated as cancellations by airlines and may result in a 100% cancellation charge.

Expectant Mothers

Flights cannot be arranged for expectant mothers who will be over 28 weeks pregnant on their return date to the United States. Regardless, all expectant mothers should consult their doctor before travelling to confirm fitness to fly.

Behaviour and Conduct

Travellers are responsible for ensuring appropriate behaviour throughout the trip. Any damage or loss caused must be paid directly to the accommodation provider or supplier.

Travellers agree to indemnify TripMakers.us against any claims, including legal costs, arising from their actions. If, in the reasonable opinion of TripMakers.us or relevant authorities, behaviour causes distress, danger, or damage, TripMakers.us reserves the right to terminate travel arrangements without notice. In such cases, no refunds or compensation will be provided.

Package Holiday Booking Conditions

The Contract

Bookings are made with TripMakers.us under these terms. No person is authorised to alter these conditions on behalf of TripMakers.us.

Acceptance of Booking
TripMakers.us reserves the right to amend prices, offers, or information shown in brochures or on the website at any time before a booking is confirmed. Once the deposit is received and the booking form is completed satisfactorily, a confirmation invoice will be issued. At this point, a binding contract between you and TripMakers.us comes into effect.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 12 weeks before departure. If full payment is not received by the due date, TripMakers.us reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. For bookings made within eight weeks of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Your Holiday Price

Your holiday price is based on costs, taxes, and exchange rates known at the time of booking. Prices may be subject to increases due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Transportation cost increases
• Scheduled airfare changes
• Airline fuel surcharges
• Government-imposed taxes, including VAT
• Currency exchange rate fluctuations

Certain destinations may charge a local city tax, which is payable directly to the hotel and is not included in the total holiday price. It is the traveller’s responsibility to check and pay such charges.

Changes Made by TripMakers.us

While TripMakers.us aims to operate all holidays as planned, changes may occasionally be necessary. Travel arrangements are often made well in advance using independent suppliers such as airlines and hotels, over whom TripMakers.us has no direct control.
Most changes are minor and will be communicated as soon as reasonably possible. In the event of a major change, TripMakers.us will notify you or your travel agent promptly. A major change includes:

• Downgrading to accommodation of a lower category or value
• A change in flight timing exceeding 12 hours
• A change in the U.S. departure airport (excluding New York airports)
• A significant change in the resort area

TripMakers.us shall not be liable for compensation where changes or cancellations occur due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to airline schedule changes, technical transport issues, war, civil unrest, industrial disputes, natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, or acts of terrorism.
Hotel classifications such as First Class or Luxury are based on TripMakers.us’s assessment and may not reflect official ratings. These descriptions are formed from local standards, experience, and supplier information. TripMakers.us does not own or operate the accommodation used. If reserved accommodation becomes unavailable, every effort will be made to provide alternative accommodation of an equivalent standard.

Cancellation by the Client

If you or any member of your booking wishes to cancel, TripMakers.us must be notified as soon as possible. Telephone cancellations must be confirmed in writing or by email within 24 hours by the person who made the original booking.
The cancellation date will be considered the date written confirmation is received. A cancellation invoice will be issued within seven days. If not received, you should contact TripMakers.us immediately to avoid additional charges.
If airline tickets have already been issued, they must be returned with the cancellation request. Some travel arrangements are non-changeable or non-refundable and may incur a 100% cancellation charge. This will be clearly communicated before cancellation is finalised.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover cancellation fees, loss of deposit, or unforeseen circumstances. If only part of a booking is cancelled, additional charges may apply to remaining travellers.

Cancellation Charges

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the period before departure when notice is received:
• More than 56 days: Deposit only
• 28–56 days: 30% of total holiday cost or full deposit (whichever is higher)
• 7–27 days: 60% of total holiday cost
• Less than 7 days: 80% of total holiday cost

Cancellation by TripMakers.us

TripMakers.us reserves the right to cancel a holiday at any time. However, cancellations will not occur within 8 weeks of departure unless due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
If cancellation occurs, TripMakers.us will offer alternative travel arrangements of a similar or equivalent standard. If the U.S. Foreign Office advises against travel to a destination, TripMakers.us will act accordingly and cancel affected bookings. In such cases, amounts paid will be refunded, but no additional compensation will be payable.
No compensation is payable where cancellation occurs due to insufficient participant numbers, provided written notice is issued within the timeframe stated in the package description.

Insurance

Adequate travel insurance is strongly recommended. Insurance should cover cancellation charges, curtailment, medical expenses, repatriation (including air ambulance), personal accident, delays, and loss or damage to personal belongings.
If insurance is arranged independently, written policy details must be provided to TripMakers.us, along with a signed indemnity confirming that TripMakers.us and its overseas agents are not liable for costs that would otherwise be covered by insurance.

Data Protection

TripMakers.us takes full responsibility for safeguarding personal information. Certain details must be shared with service providers such as airlines, hotels, transport companies, and relevant authorities, including customs, immigration, or security agencies, where required by law.

Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Despite careful planning, issues may occasionally arise. If a problem occurs during your trip, it must be reported immediately to the supplier and TripMakers.us’s local agent or staff to allow prompt resolution.
If the issue cannot be resolved during travel, a written complaint must be submitted to TripMakers.us within seven days of return. Failure to raise concerns during the trip may affect any subsequent claim.
In all cases, TripMakers.us’s maximum liability shall not exceed the total cost of the booking (or the relevant portion if not all travellers are affected).

Disabled Passengers

Some destinations may not be suitable for travellers with disabilities. Customers are advised to confirm destination suitability before booking to ensure individual needs can be accommodated.

Telephone Calls

If issues arise during your trip, immediate contact with the supplier and TripMakers.us staff is essential. Prompt reporting allows issues to be addressed quickly. A written follow-up within seven days of return is required if the issue remains unresolved.
